A lot of people think screen readers can take text from an image- there is not a lot of development in the technology unfortunately so its pretty basic. While OCR readers do exist they are not standard so copy paste is the best method - or write the text.

People tend to forget to add alt text. To help with this Bluesky has a setting.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Toggle Require alt text before posting.

1. Upload the image.
2. Select the Alt button.
3. Enter a description of the image.
