My fam and I loved this sweet book by @nidhiart.bsky.social about a shy, thoughtful kid who is bursting with music -- the words sing and art is expressive and lovely.

I have a PB bio on the incredible Delta blues musician CeDell Davis publishing with Calkins Creek, to be released down the road a ways.

Can't say enough good things about this book -- would've loved to have read it as a middle-grader, but enjoyed it just as much now - scary, clever, and perfect framing device --
