Oh know! Man this sucks. The number of times one of his movie posters adorned my wall, or I cracked a novelization that featured his work.

What will it take to end the tyrannical reign of Taylor? Deliver us from this mediocrity.

Sure would be great though if just one of those 'world leaders' had enough courage & morality to actually stand up to Trump and tell him to go f*** himself.

But we'll never see that from any of these 'leaders.' Just ass kissing, brown nosing sycophants and supplicants.

Cowards the lot of them.

Media manufacturing consent for the powers that be. Somebody should write a book about it.

Oh wait......

A masterpiece of filmmaking, probably Mann's greatest film. And incredibly, a big criticism of the film (released 1999) was it overplayed the threats corporate ownership and the power of money had over news.

This entire situation constantly has me remembering Michael Mann's phenomenal "The Insider." I don't know how to clip scenes for BlueSky, but the video at 7:35 where Mike Wallace shamefully talks about CBS destroying the legacy of Edward R. Murrow seems prophetic.

Boy it would be great if when other political parties are in power in Ontario (like the LIBs were from 2003 -1018) that they had done something about the draconian, antiquated laws that essentially give the Premier and provincial government almost unlimited power over cities and municipalities.

I wasn't necessarily posting it because I believe in sympathy for any Americans, more so that it's a bad way of encouraging someone to look at an issue.

I'm a firm believer that all Americans can basically go fuck themselves. I don't give a shit who they voted for.

Virginia - the home state for the brewery in question did vote Democrat & Harris.

Considering that most countries & people have for decades listed the United States as the 'enemy' and biggest threat it's about time Canadians had their eyes opened and joined with most everyone else in recognizing how evil America is(and has always been.)

When someone says she's 'a private citizen' and that's the basis for leaving her alone & not criticizing her I see someone whose prepared to submit in advance, without ever having to be asked.

Well now we have proof that at least one person actually read Toronto Life magazine this month.

Wouldn't it have been great if Canadian media hadn't been platforming Manning ever since 2002 when he lost his seat in the Federal election. Instead the MSM has been his willing sycophant & partner, giving him a ready platform to promote his craziness for 2+ decades.

Yeah, she wrote books about Lance Armstrong and missed all the drug taking. What a hack.

...fighter/bomber etc. in any individual role - it's a winner because of it's truly advanced integrated fighter systems. It's meant to overwhelm via numbers and stealth and directed control using it's onboard computer systems to 'manage' the battle.

...fight the US (or any peer country) in any sustained aerial combat. The US could field how many hundreds of 4.5/5+ gen aircraft against us.

The F-35 was meant as an integrated part of NATO defence commitments. And that's ultimately the way the plane is designed to fight - it's not the best...

And Canada, even with it's preposterous and ruinous swing towards obscene levels of defence spending could never afford, outfit, maintain and crew an airforce that could...
