I'm really excited to share this!

Yashie Mae narrated a whole bundle of my stories. Chilling tales about post-apocalyptic queens, buried secrets, devilish visitors, and a heavenly new street drug. Check it out and show them some love

Rings (2017) wasn't very good, but I hope they take another stab at this series. I feel like there's still potential there
Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
7.5/10

I hadn't seen this since I was a kid. It's goofy as all hell, but a lot of fun. I gotta hand it to them, Audrey II still looks great all these years later.

I quite liked it, but at the time I thought it might be too broadly similar to Hereditary. Ari Aster made two films in a row about people unwittingly being the focus of a cult's plans
Thirteen Ghosts. Say what you want about the movie, but the ghost design was top notch. Seriously scary stuff. Young me was not ready for that
Minor announcement, I made a Ko-fi

I think Baskin was the last film I've seen that actually left me scared. It's really freaky, in the best way possible.
The Sadness (2021)
7.5/10

It was described to me as basically being a Crossed movie, and that's pretty much what it was. "Zombies," extreme violence, and other depravity. It's not for everybody, but fans of really disturbing horror should check it out

In terms of lesser-known movies, I'm a pretty big fan of May (2002)
In the midst of designing all of these torture devices and planning all of the games that we would see in the sequels, John Kramer also built an extendable, wrist-mounted blade that he would only use once. Where did this man find the time?
I'm rewatching Saw (2004)

Why does nobody talk about Jigsaw having an Assassin's Creed style wrist blade? How was that not a bigger part of the franchise?

I thought it was a really fun movie. While it doesn't follow the story of the game, it has some of the same vibes. The time loop aspect was cool. You'll probably have a better time if you don't think about it too much
A lot of people call it a Saw knock-off, and it kind of is, but I still think it's pretty interesting on its own. It's a fun watch, even if it's not great
HIM (2025)
7.0/10

I liked quite a bit about this movie. I get why it's divisive, especially the ending sequence. Great vibe, but just doesn't come together in the end. It's a bit shallow, and the lead character isn't all that interesting. Good soundtrack, though.

I'm celebrating this Spooky Season by finally diving into Alan Wake 2. I don't play that many horror games, hope I don't get too scared

Personally, Inferno is my favorite of the direct-to-video sequels. I think it's the best Hellraiser movie we got until 2022

There's some really cool stuff in the works.

My story "The Grave of Molly C." is going to be a part of SpinalTap Horror's Halloween special, and there's also a very exciting video from a new narrator.

I'm also working on some new stories that are gonna be a lot of fun

May is a favorite of mine. I think it's a real sleeper hit that nobody talks about. I might have to revisit it for this Spooky Season
My story "A Devil at the Door" is featured in the latest episode of SpinalTap Horror. It's really cool to hear my spooky little stories be brought to life by a talented narrator. Check it out below!
