The brevity of the modern age cost us a lot of good art. It's hard to imagine an animated production today that would even try to reach for something like the opener to "Batman: The Animated Series."

I would guess a tall set of false shoulders, judging from where the arms disappear & how they hands are bent-up. So your eyes are prolly about level with the black cloth right below the white shirt.

It's an incredibly strong image. Fantastic use of shadow & void to hide the features of the Thing while still revealing it. Absolute scene-stealer against the hazy autumn tones behind.

If it goes to paint, consider giving the horse a skeletal face. Something about this seems to "call out" for it.

I'm still shocked at how the Gremlin movies just so completely faded out of the cultural zeitgeist. They seemed so iconic & classic at the time; 'Aliens' for kids. & yet only tattered fragments of that legacy remain.
