Today I received two pieces of mail from folks who appreciate my artwork and it is like I’m riding high on a kite. Sometimes all I need is a little bit of validation to keep the darkness at bay.
Thank you everyone who helps boost and support me and my artworks. 🌱

Here's what we got so far on the latest commission. The body horror was removed, and instead the flamingo is draped in ribbon. Pretty! twitch.tv/spookeriffic

No Sunday Stream, y'all~
Spending time with da family.
Ghost Pokemon Dreepy --
They're just a fun lil guy wanting to do fun lil things! It was pretty cool to find out that they really like splashing around in the water.
This was part of my Aughost 2025 series~

4"x6" Windsor Newtwon and Gansai Tambi Watercolor, Micron Pens on Strathmore watercolor paper
Traditional watercolour illustration of the pokemon Dreepy. They're jumping out of a splash of water while in a yellow innertube. Basic close-up of dreepy and their unbothered face while doing a backflip? out of the water while in their little yellow innertube.
TLDR; it's really easy for me to feel guilty about things that are not in my control.

And also, I really hope she got the help she needed. Or found someone to speak to who could help her.
And even though she left a bit of a nasty-gram voicemail. I feel so bad for her because like... that stuff is difficult, and it's scary. To call so much. Get through the greeting, saying we're a promo company 5 times. And then still think we're a charity-backed medical law firm?
That's so rough.
I do try to help them out by offering to do basic google searches, and at least find firms that are closer in their area, so transportation isn't much of an issue. But there really isn't much else I can do.
They're always elderly. They're always confused. They'll insist they dialed the correct number, and I have to calmly explain that yes, you dialed the number as it was shown. It isn't your mistake. It's the phone company's and we cannot get them to fix it. Because the internet is vast.
The number is scrawled into odd reaches on the internet. And, once every two weeks or so, I'll receive a phone call from someone in such a state (because medical debt is horrible), they don't listen to the entire automated greeting that states my company and what we do.
Let me just lay this out for y'all.
YEARS ago, the local telephone company placed a typo in their book and my company's phone number was matched with a charity-based medical lawfirm. That firm is gone. Has been for 10+ years. And despite informing the phone companies of the error it's too late.
I took yesterday afternoon off. And I come to my email and phone with 5 missed calls, all from the same person. Who then left a rude voicemail saying she can only work with a company that knows how to staff their business. And her health is more important than our VM inbox.
Ghost Pokemon Chandelure --
They're such a colorful pokemon that I love them a bunch. This was part of my Aughost 2025 series~

october art challenge: make art
It’s wild, historically, that so many fine artists usually produced 250-ish paintings in their lifetime. (Sans a few wild outliers)
And now we’re expected to do the same amount of care and detail in a single year.
Like what the heck.

THE WORLD
Your journey has brought you full circle with a successful ending to a major chapter in your life. Reflect on what you've learned about the Universe and yourself. What can you embrace? How will you take these lessons and continue on your next journey?
Digital Illustration for the World tarot card. A woman walks confidently towards the left, holding her head up high. Around here are elemental spirits representing fire, water, wind, and earth blooming with sprigs atop their heads. Her feet cast a magic glow from the path she's walked upon. Alphonse Mucha would stage, photograph, and then draw from his staged photo references. He also would practice tracing. That's just one historically famous artist that the same people who tend to shout anti-ref and anti-trace hold on high.

References are amazing and essential. Tracing is integral.
"Using reference is cheating, Tracing photos is cheating...."
Some people are constantly competing with other artists, and it REALLY shows.
Do we need to remind you that this is NOT a competition? Everyone has its own struggles.
Just don't steal other people's art, claiming it's yours and we good
