Barter is not as common in tribal societies as one would think, mostly within clans and tribes you see things similar to "Library economies" built on trust and reciprocity built over time
But barter is a useful, limited tool for outside traders from distant lands not privy to local tribal politics

The reason drekir don't eat much bread tends to be on two fronts
They can't process gluten at all, and they are mesocarnivores who can't live solely off of starch, in fact their majority food has to be meat.
But for pseudograins/grains/starches lacking in gluten, they can eat at least a bit of em!

Got a conversion kit to turn a cheapo .410 of mine into an inline muzzleloader. Also added a simple little cover to make sure rain doesn't get into the new breachplug and cause rust.

I am also much more comfortable drawing drekir anatomy down there than human ones.
I guess I can distance myself further from drekir as its purely a fantasy thing.
They are very creature-shaped, yet still bipedal.
