A movie that takes place where you're from

For better or for worse

Literally a choice between two surfer movies.

This afternoon's viewing! I've been watching too many *GOOD* trash films lately, so now it's time to smell the filth.

Sometimes, you find a movie that a plot synopsis that requires a dramatic reading with appropriate music.

Even that's not half as insane as Space Jam 2 having the Droogs from A Clockwork Orange in the background of multiple scenes.

This is lile the fourth time I've seen a post like this. I totally get that Terrifier is not for everyone, but can people stop pretending it's some traumatic snuff film on the level of something like the Serbian Film? Trust me, guys, there's WAY worse films out there.

All sports can be significantly improved with the addition of landmines, and I will die on this hill.

I believe diesel punk is what that aesthetic is called.

It's got a great Italian horror selection, The Beyond is one of the best horror films ever. It's even got a good selection of sword and sorcery films, the greatest kind of trash.
November 16, 2025 at 10:47 AM
I'm impatient to get it on demand or physically. I've gone full hyper fixated on sword and sorcery films lately.

The Red Sonja reboot that came out this year, too, is also pretty rad!

I've got an ambernic, myself. It's incredible how well so many old games suit a handheld platform.

I think the only reason they exist was that the Leviathan box was slightly more balanced. I haven't met anyone who's included them in their armies.

This afternoon's viewing. Had to switch it up a little, I can't watch big oiled up muscle men all the time!

I made my girlfriend watch it on Halloween. 70's Italian horror is on another level.

Just finished up my entry for a local painting competition tomorrow. I Thought about entering some old hammer, but I decided to just do what I'm best at and paint in my style.

It's good to be back!

I'm making my girlfriend watch this tonight. She's a big fan of horror, but a lot of the more mainstream stuff.
1. Gonna start with the obvious choice first, Suspiria from 1977. This movie gets an insane amount of praise, enough so that it may seem over hyped, but it is an incredibly spooky movie with some incredible visuals and cinematography. If you've never seen it, now's your chance. It's free on Tubi

Very sorry to hear of the passing of UK artist Peter Knifton. I had some personal dealings with Peter few years ago when he kindly let me use his ‘space pyramid’ cover for one of my albums. He was a gentleman. Rest well Peter.

I recently had two weeks off and did similarly nothing. I mowed the lawn, that was about it.

Tonight's viewing. I was originally going to watch The Barbarians but seem to have accidentally bought the Italian version. Lol, whoops.
