I'll admit, I'm over-thinking and over-analyzing things, but I believe the Absolute Crisis 2026 will contain two books:

(1) Remastered Crisis + History (496 pages - taken from 35th Ann)

(2) Behind-the-Scenes book (total of 240 pages)

For those asking if it’s the same companion book we got in the original Absolute Crisis, it would be no, because the original was about 100 pages. New book will be two and half times larger at 250 pages.

I'm starting to build a small collection of DC Finest. There are about 60 books printed or slated for print, so I've got a long way to go. Marvel Epic for comparison. Minor complaint: DC Bullet are not all the same size, I wish they kept it the same size as the DC Finest logo.

Some fans are still not convinced at DC's poor job in the Judas Contract (pre-DC Finest), so I have put together a side-by-side comparison using DC’s digital copy and DC Finest. I tried to match the two panels, but it is likely slightly off and not perfectly matching

Just to summarize all Judas Contract pre-DC Finest are inferior due to the removal of credit pages (example: bsky.app/profile/theg... ) and they all suffers from colors bleeding through lines - as seen in digital books

I got my first shipment of three DC Finest books (buy 2 get 1 free) and quickly dived into Horror (Neal Adams cover).

Second story is a hoot, it’s about Gil Kane (“His Name is Kane”) killing his writer. Weird commentary about bad writers and art factory

DC Comics does not understand the meaning of facsimile. The Teen Titans facsimile that they released in April 2025, are not a true 1:1 reprint of the original comic book because they removed the title and credits. The best way to experience the original comic is on DC Finest

Some asked what the best version of Judas Contract. I am assuming Deluxe coming out in Nov 2025 will be the ultimate version. Right now, DC Finest might be my personal best version since it restores the credits (note "Cross-Roads"-see image comparison) and it has new colors.

DC Finest is the best version of Judas Contract, as it is over 500 pages and has new colors as well as reverted all the damages from the trades (such as removal of title pages). I am assuming the DC Finest pages will carry over to the Deluxe edition (Nov 2025)
