Saying an artist shouldn’t bother to write a ToS is insane, look at the legal terms of service you agree to when you rent a movie.

Whether that’s binding is up to the courts, but they’ll still write pages and pages of terms for it.

It’s funny how many debates are going on rn about whether an artist’s terms of service hold up in court. When that’s literally the point of court.

Court cases are not yes/no; they’re long, subjective arguments.

The ToS is used as evidence & additional cover in a case.
