Someone asked the other day, on here somewhere, how come the ground can’t cause a fumble but it can cause incompletion? Good luck explaining to a new fan that you are allegedly trying to attract.

Pitching has changed so much in a very short period of time. Watching 30 years ago and maybe even more recent, you had a rotation, middle relievers and closers. Sure you do whatever in elimination games, but to not save a starter is an odd thing or used to be.
