If the undercoat has been brushed out and is soft it felts by itself or into the wool I've found. If it's maybe a memorial piece and the fur has been shaved, or just naturally coarser, I always blend it with the wool and on top of the wool. Same with whiskers I'm sent, I wrap them into the wool.. 😉

They are marvellous dogs aren't they? It was okay but I needed to blend it in with the wool as it was quite coarse. I've worked with a lot of different bed hair and it varies a lot!

I'm so sorry to hear about your poodle friend... I do love them. I'd advise drawing out the curls really carefully and then it really helps I found when working with the wool. Xx
