'Old Songs for Kids' is the third album in the Happy Old Love Songs trilogy. Recorded at Church Road with Paul Pascoe and a full band.

DEVO documentary on Netflix is probably one of the best portraits of modern America I've seen.

I like Devo's music about as much as I like The Ramones which is not very much at all but their creativity and social commentary and sense of wide-eyed fun is just brilliant. De-evolution. Recommended.

I once played a gig with a couple of other acts
and no-one showed up.
No audience. Zero. Nada.
The three acts just played their sets to each other (they were both great).
I recorded my set on my mobile phone and released it as one half of a live album on my Bandcamp
where it's still available 😊

There seems to have been a lot of tactical voting to ensure Reform were kept out - and if Plaid and Labour had split the vote, the fact so many Tories have turned to Reform would have given them the seat. Not sure what this means for a general election in other places

I can't be alone in thinking Mark Steel's "In Town" radio series is one of the greatest works of art in the English language (up there with Shakespeare) and a remarkable tribute to the British character and culture.
