so it doesn’t feel like a grind, and it’s fairly easy to get money at night battling, which is nice for people like me who blow money on clothing lmao.

but yeah. it’s fun so far. i just got to the heart of the story, it’s good so far and i’m interested to see where it goes.

which i was a little worried about going in. it doesn’t feel small, they’ve made great use of vertical space so far.

there are a few more casual-friendly things implemented as well i like, being a casual, like a guy who catches all your missed pokeballs (i suck at aiming). it’s easy to get xp

i’ll preface this with saying i’m only like 5-6 hours in

the new battling system is honestly so much more fun than the turn by turn system of the core series. it helps the battles feel a lot more alive and engaging, which imo felt restricting and boring.

i’m enjoying the atmosphere of the city
