1) some could afford it; others cannot.
2) developing countries already hate us for CO2 emissions from vehicles..

@boycottamazon.bsky.social another reason to boycott Amazon: a few yrs ago, I applied for a job with Amazon. They didn’t ask for references or do a background check. Instead, they asked strange questions, like if I received govt asstce so they didn’t have to give benefits, & make taxpayers pay.

US tariffs may or may not happen. “…prepare for the worst” by slowing down on purchases NOW! Buy only what you need/really want. Shop 2nd hand. Trade w/ friends/family/coworkers/neighbors.
