Like all things, there's a YouTube channel that specializes in Kitchenaid repair and mods. The last of the truly durable appliances, while there are several ways they can stop working, it's usually an easy fix if you are tool-talented.

Currently wearing a belt with a phone pouch and a Gerber multi-tool case. I have a Batman belt buckle for it, but right now it has the JEDI buckle on. I used to hang my keys off it too, but moved those to a pocket.

Other pocket has a leather organizer with a flash, pocket knife, and 2 USB drives.

I'd say roughly 98% of the things wrong today stem from lack of physical consequences for bad actions.

When I was ten I mouthed off to a kid that was trying to fight my older brother, and got kicked in the head. My brother later told me "don't say stupid things and you don't get kicked." Lessons!

Personal experience: walked in the back door of a casino with my tool box on a hand truck while waving to the guard, who didn't know me from Adam in a tee-shirt and jeans.

WIP: take two on the right-hand panel, the first attempt was a tad sloppy so I used it as a dye test, and boy oh boy did my use of Resolene as a resist work poorly - terrible coverage.

I redid the right panel much cleaner, and put the FIRST coat of Resolene on that, plus a SECOND on the left.

Leather carving progress pic. Carving and stamping have been done, and the background has been dyed black. Floral design on the left panel, the right panel is smaller floral portions combined with arrowhead basket-weave on the left side and dragonscale stamps on the right side. Oh, and a big 'ol pawprint in the middle.

... and I took an arrow from an assassin - between a Nat 20, Sneak Attack, and friggin' Poison damage, it hit for 73HP. I deflected 11 points with Dope Monk Shit, but had to eat the remaining 62.

I had 33HP to start. Luckily! the Cleric had revivify and the DM is relaxed for spell components.

DnD tonight: Pulled off a jailbreak with remarkably little drama due to combination of 'Pass Without trace' and 'Invisibility' spells.

Unfortunately the ambush on our escape route was exceedingly proficient... 1/2

For those that didn't know, this is that terrible intersection where I5, Moody, Bancroft, and Macadam cross over each other in the South Waterfront. Sounds like an excellent time for a public works project to rip up and re-pave those streets! Project should only take what, 6-7 months?

This has been a primary selling point of the Oregon standard of not allowing self-service at the pumps. We don't have ads playing because station employees are the ones doing the job.

Plus, y'know, more jobs.

Having grown up closest to the Pacific, other oceans seem kinda weird to me. The Gulf of Mexico feels more like a big lake, there's no big waves or kelp smell. I could barely smell the salt when I was on a work trip in Florida in a hotel with beach access.
