Both said they wouldn't report anything to me. But if I see Lon again i know she will be back here, her babies are here. I promised her I'd feed them and watch them. I only hope she understood. Our back yard has been the safe place for the feral and unfixed. I can't catch em but I care enough.

*the cat was right outside my back door, and I was more concerned about her then taking pictures of her in such a state. I call her Lon. She doesn't people very well, but she let me touch her to move her (with gloves) out of her own Filth and purred at me today. I hope she's ok...poor thing.

Had to call animal control to help a seemingly injured community cat, then turn around and take a found (almost mowed over) sick turtle to the wildlife vet... thankful that animals find me as a safe place. 🥹
