To piggyback off this, there is no ethical way one “earns” a billion dollars; not with the income-inequality where it is now. It’s obscene, and it’s bullshit. People don’t even blink an eye anymore. When we normalize bullshit, bullshit becomes normal.

I used to be a moderate guy, but I have been radicalized by the rise of fascism in the US.

Democrats must oppose Fascism.

But to defeat Fascism we need to change the system that brought us Fascism.

Working people deserve a decent life.

I kept telling people the old Tik Tok was no more. The platform will be increasingly used to radicalize young people. People don’t listen to me though, I’m a nobody. But we’ll have to find out the hard way just like everything else in America.

I say if the feds want to play games over this funding, California should stop paying taxes. We pay more than any other state, so if the feds do this, we should keep our money and pay for our own shit. Let those struggling red states get by on whatever they earn, and we’ll see who needs who most.

When this is over I have a good idea for the use of the “ballroom”. It should be converted into a museum whose central theme is educating the American public about fascism and authoritarianism, and highlighting the brave people and institutions that held strong during our own experience with it.

Being partisan isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if silence is what is assisting our descent into authoritarianism and lawlessness. I think “being above the fray” played a pivotal role in getting us to our current position. That’s not to say be nasty, but right is right and wrong is wrong.

If the Democrats manage to ever get back into power, I think there should be a federal mandate that NO law enforcement agencies should have their faces obscured while carrying out their duties, without a warrant. If they are operating within the law they have nothing to worry about.

That Cuomo got crushed in the NYC Democratic Primary, the @democrats.org leadership refused to endorse him, and Cuomo stayed in the race shows us all that their “Vote Blue No Matter Who” line when they expected leftists to get behind their corporate candidates was utter BULLSHIT.

Ironically, it was Comey who sent the letter to congress just before the 2016 election about Hillary’s emails that most experts agree probably cost her the election (despite her being unlikable and shady). His political games led the chain of events that finds him being persecuted now. Good for him.

Yet with the shooter who allegedly killed the other guy, the administration and FBI were messaging that the shooter in that case was a “left wing trans person” before they even had anyone in custody, and somehow obtained a very suspicious sounding “note” that carefully laid out the govt’s story.
