What's done is, unfortunately, done. And, if the shooter turns out to be another MAGA tin-foil hat, like the one who tried for Trump, I'd bet my last dollar that it'll all be forgotten as soon as possible.

I do feel bad for Kirk's family, since his kids won't have a dad anymore.
Let's be very clear here:

Do I support Charlie Kirk's message? Absolutely not. His message was a cesspit of hatred and bigotry that no one should miss at all.

Do I support his death? Also no. I wish he would've been publicly disgraced and forcibly retired from the public spotlight.
Yet we're supposed to believe that 250k people showed up in DC to one of the most anemic parades I've ever seen in all my life. Where every single picture just showed a huge lack of enthusiasm by anyone, *including* the guest of "honor".

Yeah, alright.

So, let's count it up for this past weekend:

Almost 2200 protests across the USA, including in DC, while certain people were wasting our $50m on something completely inane.

MAGAt caught in Minnesota after assassinating a Democrat lawmaker and their spouse, and attempting to assassinate another.
Think I'mma go live and do some coding exercises for some fun! Check it out:

To those who are still here, remember this:

Some of us are scarred and broken. Hurt and suffering. Some of us never did come back at all. Today is for that last group: the ones who never made it back from France or Germany or the islands in the Pacific. The ones who never saw home again. Who never got to eat their favorite meal.
For those of you that have never served, I know very well some of the thoughts on the last 24 years of wars, and that's ok; I'm not saying you're wrong or anything like that. What I will say is please make the distinction between the service member and the service.
I remember the bull sessions in the various and sundry smoke pits. The times spent playing video games on an old console that someone brought with them. The fights and the friendship, poker games and pushing the limits. It's all there.
But rest assured, I do remember them. I remember the good times and the bad. I remember our deployments to training sites and war zones, and our drinking parties in the barracks, where we sang songs with beer bottles for microphones.
However, I have lost a couple comrades to other issues: mental health, cancer, plain bad-luck accidents. Today's the day for me to remember them. I won't say their names here cos I don't wanna doxx myself, and I want to respect their and their families' privacy.
This Memorial Day hits... Kinda different. As a US veteran, I've been a bit lucky; I don't believe I lost any friends directly to the warzones (I could be wrong; I have been in the past and will be in the future, I'm sure).
Anyways!

I'm still job hunting. It's been 6 months now; I've come close on several occasions and each time haven't quite clinched an offer. Something will come along soon, I'm sure, but it's frustrating.

Therefore, Jesus was a Lich (although not necessarily one of the bad ones) and I'd bet his phylactery was the Holy Grail.
4. He appeared in daylight outside his tomb, so, not a Vampire.

5. He kept all of his intelligence and was able to communicate with several different people, plus was able to appear and disappear at will, proving strong magical powers.
Happy Lich Jesus Day!

Why was Jesus a Lich? Good question.

1. He rose from the dead and was, thus, undead.

2. He appeared corporeally to the Apostles (proved by letting Thomas touch the stigmata, which didn't heal)

3. He wasn't rotten or described as such.
Huh. I didn't know that. Does make sense that current Christians keep a picture of an illegitimate son who got his various positions through nepotism in their house tho.

I know, I know, these are very small things, but the gestalt is looking good there. But we can't lose focus or momentum. Now is the time to push forward. Make signs. Go to town halls. Annoy local governments. Put stickers on the back of stop signs or on electrical transformers or mailboxes.
