A demi god is currently destroying all of the area we are in during DnD but we spent the time to play Chain Lightning and freaking dumpstered our opponents the highlight of our campaign so far we will never reach these heights again, killing this demi god is going to be a pain in the arse.

This new Dangonronpa 2 game is going to have to do something really special to justify itself. I think Dangonronpa 2 is one of the best works of fiction, it literally challenged my philosophical point of view and made me change my mind in a way that I hadn't experienced since Waiting For Godot.

Also characters actively ignore plot threads oh the ark we know is making all the robots go mad and is designing weapons for Zaia we keep hearing about it but nobody thinks to like check that or try and find it or you know stop it? Oh when we defeat enemies these cassettes drop should we pick em up?

They used a court case as part of their dumb contest too and even Hiden points out how unethical it was which is wild because this shows ethics are nonsensical at the best of times.

Because of the gimmick overdrive this show is in characters skill and power levels jump all over the place.

Zero-one continues to be freaking wild for all the wrong reasons. There are like glimmers of good ideas but it's constantly undermined by acting like these two CEOs are like fun and not horrific, the next contest is which one of their technologies can save the most people from a fire, fun hijinks 😕

I wouldn't take anything out, and it's a tight 70 mins so like again none of these are like proper criticism just like my unmet desires and things I wanna see us tackle in theatre. So let's get writing more plays and convincing people to give us the money to make em.

Like gender dysphoria as a term and it's dodgy basis is something I feel strongly about but I don't think this writer does so like that isn't something I expect the play to examine but when a large part of the narrative is based around that appointments I dunno even if it's different to what I think

The navigation of those appointments the failings of the system and dehumanising interrogation of your right to live as you are is something a cis audience doesn't get or even conceptualize the narrative that they hand hrt out like candy can be challenged by presenting the experience to audiences.

There is a hint at the failings of the system and the ways you have to coach yourself to give perfect answers but it's never outright said to a lay audience. My own politics here are pulling my interest into that idea but I think if you are writing a play for a general audience it's valuable.

Equally the wait of appointment is really well expressed and executed the play makes you feel the cycle of Jac and the way it tortures him you feel his need and when he becomes more and more desperate you are on that journey. However the appointments themselves aren't given much investigation.

I think some of my frustrations come from the topics the play touches on and doesn't delve into being set mostly before 2020 is fine but it does touch slightly on the landscape changing but it's not what the story is about but I wish it had delved into that more different play but we need it.

I do think you could take the entire back wall off the set and save you some money the platform and globe above did the work.

I wanna see more trans voices in Wales and in Welsh and selfishly I wanna work on some of that please and thank you.

I found the play much more engaging and sincere as the emotions hightened it also became funnier because it felt true. The experience is not my own but my own experience of transness really emotionally affected me by the end. I really like the Atlas metaphor it was a solid building block.

That being said if I'm super critical about the production the direction left the first half not landing for me. The need to have an action on literally every line did not allow us to connect with the character it was constantly performative. The play got better as it went along.

Dynolwaith by Leo Drayton is a great script. I'm so happy to see a trans rep in Welsh that was supported by a trans inclusive production team. I have had my battles with Frân Wen literally over this and I think it's fair to say this time they did the right thing.

There is a immediate sense of overwhelm with the amount of characters and the Xipha orbment system is just too much too much information. Because of the way they have structured the game too everything feels walking round a small box with people in it that won't really get any development.

Going from Trails In The Sky First chapter remake back to Trail's Through Daybreak 2 Crimson Sin has broke my brain and I just have no idea how to play Daybreak anymore. I can't tell if it's a me thing or that actually Crimson Sin is just too much.

Every games media outlet that spoiled that suprise at the end needs throwing into the sun because its amazing and it would have been great to let fans experience it, sure the falcom fandom is infamous for not shutting up about things but still I would have lost my mind.

Trails In The Sky First Chapter remake is a masterpiece and my game of the year. Perfectly adapted and updated with beautiful attention to detail. This was made with love of the original and elevates the game to reach new audiences and for those who have played it before. It's a must play RPG.

Like okay even if we ignore the capitalism of it all. Things happen in the story seemingly for no reason, the protagonist have to be actively oblivious to bits of information episode 14 sees two riders immediately become rubbish so they can have all their gimmicks stolen in record time it's rubbish
