Check your emails too. Change their passwords. Google, for example can help you log out of unknown devices, and do that for good measure. You'd be surprised how often a compromised account starts with a compromised email.

As far as I know if you already had bank on your 3ds you can still access it but it will likely prompt you to move your Pokémon to Home! Its been about a year since I've used it, but I have since eshop shutdown and it worked okay 🫡

As a fellow art student, I found the closest 1:1 ui and brushes and layer capabilities through clip studio paint which is one of few programs that you can still get a full license for (though they have subscription models if its easier financially)
Paint tool sai was also a really good program tho!
