I’m having a very hard time not obsessing. He doesn’t seem to be abused or anything but fck what a lonely life. I rehearse in my head the conversation I want to have with his owner over and over-but husband says I can’t. 😞

He really was! But in reality, nothing ties him to the 2 missing hunters (chainsaw) and he only admitted to 2 murders. Lots of artistic license. I haven’t watched the other Monster series - kind of pissed me off that people thought the Menendez brothers were innocent after that show aired. 🙄

And sorry - I should have clarified *I* was disappointed. I don’t mean to disparage anyone else’s opinion. 🫢 It was gory and disturbing and fun and full of great movie monster tie-ins.

It just didn’t seem true to Gein’s actual story, felt very dramatized and embellished. And I didn’t like that we were supposed to feel sorry for him or like he had a redemption arc at the end. 🤷🏻‍♀️
