Don't worry y'all - I'm finishing this story out. I've actually been dealing with some of this fallout recently as well as some other life changes. So bear with me <3

from you. Because people like you, who are unwilling to show compassion or even ethical practices shouldn't have positions of power. You actually remind me a lot of this administration.

And yet, I do find myself stronger for it. So long term, you failed. And I hope one day, there is some justice.

My message to whom I referred to as Julie - I think the most disappointing aspect from my experience with you was how when we first met, you let it be known you had a partner who suffered from PTSD and was aware of mental health challenges. And yet, you wouldn't have known that with how you -

I learned a lot working under you. I learned how to advocate like hell for myself. And this was despite you. You are a Person of Color, so you know the struggle and discrimination women POC's have in the workforce. And you realized you hired someone -

Comfort, that you are not alone and you're not crazy. The amount of gaslighting and trying to tell me, I'm the problem so they these heads wouldn't have to admit they were making mistakes really did have an impact. And I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Lastly to no one's surprise, this was the decision by #TWC . I wasn't surprised at least. It was there word against mine and no amount of documentation or retelling seemed to change holding them accountable.

So by 7/18/2025, I was sick and tired of still not having any of my concerns being addressed. Especially by such a massive conflict in appealing my Termination. With that I took a risk, to me at least, and reached out to multiple heads in different departments. Such as Compliance/Ethics department.

New Post: Okay so this is a continuation of the previous Termination notice and took place on 6/24/25. This was from HR and after I sent it to the whole department, HR, and Payroll. As well as my response to her. They can't say they never knew what they were doing was wrong. #retaliation

So in response to the Termination notice: I decided I wasn't going to let them keep me silent by wrongfully terminating me. So I sent this to my whole department, HR, Payroll, etc. If I was going out like this, I wasn't going quietly.

A new side note: Because I didn't have only me and my partner to worry about but our pups. I applied for #TexasUnemployment on 7/14. I knew my previous employer this whole story is about might push back considering they wanted to cover their ass but I thought I should still try.

This is the response I did receive regarding the equipment. This conversation was with Beck, and HR as a whole, as well as single members were cc'eed.

And NO, I still haven't had a follow up since the "checking with the Dean's office" message from Beck. We are now 10/19/2025.

Keep in mind, aside from already being underpaid and having bills, I had just moved during this time as well. Even though I shouldn't need to justify it, I feel like it's a knee jerk reaction after all of this.
