Been watching the first few episodes of #TheLazarusProject and wow.... I'm not sure who the good guys are, but I'm fairly convinced that #TimeTravel is a #Horror genre.

ICE trying to ORDER a church to REMOVE A NATIVITY SCENE is one of the most astonishing First Amendment violations I've seen in ever
ICE’s acting director ordered a Boston Catholic parish to tear down its Advent Nativity scene—stripped of baby Jesus and branded with the message “ICE WAS HERE.” The parish priest is refusing, citing he pope’s call to stand with migrants. It's another chapter in Kristi Noem's war on Christians.
“ICE Was Here”: Pope Leo-Inspired Nativity Scene Sparks MAGA Outrage
A Nativity scene missing Jesus — and marked with an “ICE was here” sign — has triggered cries of “politicizing Christmas.” The parish priest says he’s answering Pope Leo's call to welcome stranger.

Steve Gibson generally sends out the show notes for #SecurityNow (computer security podcast) the day before the show. It looks like the quick email I sent him led to the next to last topic on tomorrow's episode (Tuesday at 4:30pm Eastern / 1:30pm Pacific / 21:30 UTC).

Computer History Lesson!!! Computer monitors used to weigh 40-50 pounds! And they came in huge boxes, two feet on a side, packed with big chunks of styrofoam. And the screens were only 17 inches across!!!

(Why was this even in the crawlspace anymore?)

Urban legend claims that someone successfully sued Pepsi for a harrier fighter jet after buying 7,000,000 Pepsi points.

The sad reality of course is that he lost.

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.

Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

The article says this particular TARDIS won't travel through time and space, but I disagree. That's *exactly* what books let you do!

You've no doubt seen a "Little Free Library" in neighborhoods across Baltimore — but perhaps none like the TARDIS in Howard County.
