I'm biased, because it's set in my hometown, but I was blown away by this novel! Read it in one 3 hour sitting, rooting for the protagonist to make it through one wild night.

Well, my self-imposed book buying ban lasted two months. I imagined a scenario where book censorship is ratcheted up within the next four years, thus my book purchases are now framed in the light of some noble protection of knowledge. But it's not hoarding if it's books, right?

I am in the midst of a self-imposed book buying ban through the end of '25.

I am buying 110% more books as Christmas gifts for my friends and family this year.

These aren't contradictory statements, right? Right?!

DNF. Punctuation exists for a reason. I understand Murray’s attempting to convey a sense of manic in a character, but leaving it up to the reader to decipher whether a capitalized word is a proper noun or the end of the sentence does nothing helpful for the flow of a story. #booksky

At the outset, I’ll use this platform to share book reviews and marginalia.

My book buying has dramatically outpaced book reading, so I’m imposing a book buying ban through the end of 2025. How I’ll go a year without stepping into a bookstore I really don’t know.
