It might take confidence sure but it comes with a stigma. I’ve heard about this happening a few times and I’ve never talked to anyone who had something good to say about it, let alone actually joined the patreon afterwards lol.

I think it makes more sense when you remember silksong was originally HK DLC and thus was meant for people who just finished HK and wanted a bigger challenge. Hence the bug difficulty.

Their biggest fault I think was not adjusting or changing this after making it a standalone game.
