FRIENDS! My amazing friend Roxy's feature film, 'JULIA BLUE', is now available to rent or purchase in the U.S. and Canada!

Shot in Ukraine before 2022, the film is a time capsule of a city, country, and people who have been forever changed.

🚨🇺🇦Ukraine has chosen “2000 Meters to Andriivka” as their submission for the 2026 Oscars 🚨🇺🇦

Incredibly proud to have been on the translation team of this film. If you haven’t seen it already, plase try and find a screening. It will change your life.
'2000 Meters to Andriivka' is premiering in select cinemas in Europe Aug 1, and then a limited release in the US shortly after.
If Mariupol is a testament to how Russia terrorizes a country, Andriivka is a testament to how Ukrainians keep their humanity in the face of evil.

I’m so proud of this film. I'm so proud to have helped tell its story.
Mstyslav Chernov is the storyteller the world needs. Andriivka premiers in NYC Friday the 25th of July. From Aug 1, it’ll be in select cinemas.

Don’t turn away. These soldiers sacrificed everything to protect their country. The least you can do is witness it.
Yep- in select cinemas in the UK and Ireland from Aug 1
‘2000 Meters to Andriivka’ is a story about the soldiers sacrificing their lives for the country they love. Proud to have been on the team of translators for his latest documentary; these stories are too important not to be seen and heard.

Finally, here is the trailer for ‘2000 METERS TO ANDRIIVKA’ by Mstyslav Chernov— a documentary about the Ukrainian counteroffensive. I was honored to work on this as a translator, with Frontline.

The film will be screening in UK and Irish cinemas starting August 1st.

And just like that… Cynthia Nixon is wearing Ukrainian label Bevza for the launch of the latest season. 😎🇺🇦
Happy Vyshyvanka Day from me and my 55-year old vyshyvanka that I inherited from my Babchya Yulia 💝🇺🇦
It’s beautiful to me that when you search “vyshyvanka” or “Ukraine” as a GIF to use on Instagram, it’s flooded with embroidery, flags, wheat.

4 yrs ago when you searched “Ukraine” you’d get a GIF of a drunk Russian dude.

It IS possible to change the narrative. 🇺🇦
Happy Vyshyvanka Day.

Ukrainian women are truly unmatched.
Happy #vyshyvankaday- please don’t forget what Ukraine is fighting for. 🇺🇦
If you wear a traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirt for Vyshyvanka Day (May 15), wear it with the knowledge that our family, friends, and loved ones died to make sure Ukrainian culture and defiance aren’t erased by terrorists and their enablers. Our embroidery is an act of resistance.
All I wish for #MothersDay  is for Ukrainian mothers to stop having to bury their children.
“Stories of women after their injuries”— the most beautiful Playboy issue there ever was, thank you, Libkos 🇺🇦
May the 4th be with Ukraine.

You don’t have to be a Star Wars nerd to understand that we are almost literally enabling a Sith Lord to murder people because he’s drunk with power and fueled by hatred.
Христос Воскрес! 🇺🇦
Someone asked ChatGPT what future 'fame' will be based on what we've seen for 50 yrs. Two answers were:

-Cultural preservationists and Translators
-Multidisciplinary storytellers

Ultimately, humans need connection. And the way to do that is to amplify each other's stories.
So incredibly honored to have worked on these translations with the frontlinepbs team. So glad people all over the world will see this documentary.
'Bread and circuses'. This phrase originates from the Roman poet Juvenal & refers to the idea of pacifying people with basic necessities such as food and entertainment, to distract from deeper issues.

Stop getting distracted on here, and keep paying attention.
