I've been trying to use AI agents for work, it gets a lot of fundamental things wrong and in an overly verbose way, at the end I always have to prompt something like "can we simplify this to the bare minimum" and fix it myself

I feel like this is a side effect of LLMs trained on textual input

After thinking about this for a bit, I think a junior with good habits have always been more productive than seniors with bad habits, maybe AI just expands the gulf between them. I agree that interns of today are prob. better than interns. But Gregely's sweeping "better than seniors" is tad dubious.

My experience with AI tools is to treat it like a junior but with no capacity to improve, I'm probably very biased given that I'm a senior but I really struggle to understand how a junior will have the capability to avoid pitfalls that the AI tools regularly fall into

I know I'm doing the "jUsT uSe AnDrOiD" thing here, but I really gotta shill the Sony Xperia 10 line of phones here, 2-3 days on one charge. Yes it's not the fastest and the screen isn't that high res, but I *really* like using a power bank with phone capabilities

some extra context: this is relatively common in south east asia, our street side ice cream vendors will just use the cheapest bread with the cheapest ice cream that comes in a cardboard box that you can just slice through the whole dang thing to make a cube like this

it was mindblowing when i first found out this wasn't a thing worldwide, but don't knock it till you try it, normal bread works fine
