Calling all creatives!

Fr. David is taking to the skies — literally! He’s leaping out of a plane to raise money for Building Anew, and we need your help to make it extra special…

We also hold in prayer those whose experience of motherhood is marked by struggle, and those who chose not to become mothers—or had no choice.

Today, we give thanks for love where it is found and offer compassion where there is hurt. You are not alone. We are praying for you.

#TeddingtonParish
We remember:

Those celebrating loving relationships.
Those who have lost mothers or children.
Those longing to be mothers.
Those estranged from family.
Those who never knew a mother’s love.
Those who mother in many forms—biological, adoptive, spiritual.
Today is Mothering Sunday. For some, this is a day of love and gratitude. For others, it is a day of grief, pain, or complexity.

We hold in prayer all who find this day joyful, and all who find it difficult.

What if your daily coffee could provide a week’s clean water? What if your Friday night takeaway could buy school clothes?

This Lent, let’s rethink our habits and make a real difference in Pemba. 🌍✨

Our Sr. Margaret-Thomas shares a reflection on this feast of St. Joseph.
Joseph speaks no words in the Gospels, but his life is a testament: holiness is found in faithfulness, in the unseen work of forming others.

The shape of a father’s hands, reflected in the hands of the Son of God.

Latest entry to the Oxford Dictionary, courtesy of Fr. David:

‘nunlet’ (noun)

A small but mighty nun, usually found managing parish printed and digital media, drinking iced coffee, and raising theological eyebrows.
From the earliest days of Christianity, women have been bearers of the Gospel, followers of Christ, and faithful witnesses.

Today, we celebrate them and pray that all may be empowered to live out their God-given callings in the Church and the world.

#TeddingtonParish
We are especially grateful for our female clergy, ministry team members, office staff, volunteers, and all the women who shape the life of our parish.

Their presence reminds us of the vital role women have played in the Church from the very beginning and continue to play today.
On #InternationalWomensDay we give thanks for the women in our church and beyond who serve, lead, and nurture our community.

Their faith, dedication, and gifts enrich our parish in countless ways, from pastoral care to music, hospitality, teaching, administration, and prayer.
Next up in our #WorldBookDay series is Debbie, who is doing her LLM placement with us. #TeddingtonParish
And next up we have a recommendation from Jonathan, another of our Church Wardens.
