I hate dealing with the reality of the world and all the shit people do.

I don't really believe in good people anymore.

I don't believe in good anymore.

Things aren't black and white anymore.

I think it is better this way.

Simplicity of good and evil is the way of the tyrant.
I have met some awesome new people online, and it seems like I don't interact with anyone my age anymore.

After growing up in a chronological segregated world, it feels weird to be around so many people of different ages.

People of all ages are doing things.
After a break I am back. Things have changed quite a bit for me in the last few months, I am working a new job, I got married, I have started running DnD games professionally. It has been a rollercoaster of a year. At this point I would like to just take a moment to say,

What the absolute fuck.
I like to believe the best way to live is to be invested in creating something, anything. To build and create is virtue.
Sometimes it gets hard to believe in good things happening. But bad things tend to burn themselves out.

I believe that the true difference between good and bad is a question of creation, coexistence and consumption. To be driven by consumption is to swear away all goodness you ever had a claim to.
@sherekhanum.bsky.social I wanna know more about you and your vibe. What is your style, what are your flavors?

I am an engineer, working towards making it through today and maybe tomorrow too. I like to write wild stories and play dungeons and dragons with my friends. I used to study philosophy.
It depends on how the players use it. If they build off of it and use it as a starting place for the character, I would be ok with it.

If they simple made a dumb backstory with a handful of mishmashed characters that are vaguely playable, I would be quite frustrated.

I have an easier checklist:

If you sleep on a pile of #dice, you’re a dragon.

(It’s why I use those rounded d4s.)

Started a new job in the engineering department at a new company last week. I have learned something from the Senior Mechanical Engineer.

As an engineer you get a lot of respect, and you can use that for little perks and things to make the day more pleasant.

Hi! I’m a handmade ttrpg dicemaker and I hear this is where I should be. I never used that *other* site so please bear with me. I am having a sale in my shop- click the link in the bio to purchase these dice at a discount! #dice #dicemaker #resindice #dnd #ttrpg #boardgames
The cats have taken over the couch
As a party we may have mistakenly assumed he was a lich and shattered his soul and are now responsible for restoring him to his prior state
I am collecting pieces of a wizard whose body got cut up and separately reanimated. Each piece of him has its own personality and must be reunited for him to return to his previous form.
Movies I have seen as a child but forgot until now ✔️
It is MacnCheese's first car ride #cat #kitten. Unlike our other cat he likes being swaddled and brought along on a ride
Thinking about running an online DnD group for new players each weekend, I dunno, depends on how much interest there is for it.
One NPC I wrote that left a hell of an impact was Cambridge, he was a magically modified supersoldier. But because of the modification he couldn't use any magic himself, but he couldn't die. He was a messed up attempt at immortality that managed to desert the army
I forgot to mention, I am 23 and all of these games have happened in the last 5 years.
These kinds of situations are fairly common when I run games for mixed gender groups. I have had 3 couples from my various games get married at this point with 2 more on the horizon. It is wild and wacky, but it is a lot of fun.
Then the campaign ended on high note with the party sacking a dwarven city, then we all went out separate ways. We get together every year or so, except the 3 that have not spoken to me since because they lost the romantic war and no longer want to be involved in my games.
Me again. It was all in all a spiraling mess worthy of a sitcom or daytime drama. At one point one player poisoned another, one stole the others girlfriend while he was in Paris, I had only one player show up for a session and had the oddest 1/1 roleplay session.
Two of the girls over one of the guys. It ends up with two couples forming, one of the guys leaving for Paris, the two brothers reconciling (they weren't the ones in a rivalry but they had some issues as brothers do), two couples are now married, one of the guys and one of the girls never spoke to
My craziest ongoing story was when I was running a game for a group of 8 people, 3 girls, 5 guys. It ended up turning into a complicated love pentagram with all kinds of hijinks. It went off the walls. It ended up in an intense rivalry between two of the guys over one of the girls, a rivalry between
