ATTENTION ‼️‼️
(Please read more below!)
Flip phone with a speech bubble reads: “Attention! AteHoneyMaru streams are in pause for the time being”.
A yellow bear with a red heart is inside the bubble. A woman with long brown hair, a black crop top, and a yellow hoodie tied around her waist stands to the side.

I'd be happy to answer questions about my illness from people in the communities I'm in! I know I mention my illness a lot, but I think many people--even friends of mine--still have very spotty understandings of my experience pieced together from things I've casually said.

With low doses of Abilify, my health has been gradually improving since 2021. And after switching to treating my anemia with iron infusions instead of supplements in 2022, I became cognitively healthy enough to draw regularly for much of 2023. Getting back the ability to draw has been huge.

ME/CFS is a post-viral illness, and most people can point to a clear viral trigger (like Covid19). I’m not sure what triggered it for me and my progression into the illness was unusual, but I’m confident that I’m correctly diagnosed. There is currently no treatment for ME/CFS.

Some people with ME/CFS do also have an autoimmune illness in addition, but I do not. I am NOT on immunosuppressants.

ME/CFS does impact your immune system, but it’s not an AUTOimmune illness. Autoimmune illnesses are subcategory of immune illnesses that specifically refer to when the immune system mistakes native cells for foreign cells that should be destroyed.

I have something called an “energy envelope,” where I try to live without expending too much of my limited energy and triggering worse symptoms. I’m actually pretty freaking good at it. I just get frustrated and feel the need to complain a bit when I know I can’t do more without stressing my body.

Imagine that yesterday you did several hours of academic or cognitive testing, then swam till your body ached, and then went out and got drunk and now you’re waking up and feeling the consequences. That’s what my body feels like before I’ve done anything at all.

1) constant pain throughout my entire body with the most intense pain being a headache or migraine and

2) constant physical and mental exhaustion

warning: this is about to be a long thread, and I'm not a medical professional, just someone disabled by chronic illness

I have myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome. (ME/CFS for short!) I have a bunch of symptoms, but the big ones are:

Do not watch the HBO series.
Do not buy wizard game (2).

I usually don't judge too much, I get that not everyone is fully in the loop for everything. If you support JKR now, we are done.

James C Mulligan is going after vids and people who call him out for selling AI images. He’s using copyright as an excuse to get them removed, which is so baffling considering he’s a serial tracer. He has claimed official Bambi background art as his own, but there’s so much more.
