Carcassonne is one of our favorite games! We play it almost every weekend! I've got all major expansions & lots of mini-expansions. Abbey and Mayor is the most useful. It adds practical things to the base game, plus tiles! I've covered it in videos, but am considering doing a series on Carcassonne.

@lookoutgames.bsky.social Is there a misprint in the Forest Shuffle Dartmoor card count? I've got 55 cards split top/bottom and 46 cards split left/right. (Book says 56 top/bottom, 45 left/right) Total comes out right, but I'd like to know if I have the right numbers of both types of cards. Thanks!

Uh...I think your wishlist has gotten *longer* since the last time you referred me to it🤯 Regarding setting default expansions...players need to be able to edit them on each play in case we need to strip them out for newbies. Also...how the heck do you prioritize a wishlist that long??

@bgstatsapp.bsky.social How can I set expansions as a default for various games? If I add a play from the Overview it doesn't add our usual expansions. If I add a play from Games it'll add our usual expansions, but ignores default players and default location in favor of last BGA play.

It's available on BGA, and also as a phone app that you can play against an AI opponent. The advantage is that it will automate the scoring & then you can get the hang of it.🦊🌳🌳

I think you may be conflating two companies. Van de Kamps (with a K, I think) makes (made?) frozen battered fish. But I think Van Camp's is beans.

First play of Skara Brae! We liked it! You know how sometimes we make a real mess of gameplay? Well, this game is literally all about making a mess...and cleaning it up!🤣
Pic is end of last turn of last round. Just need to feed my ppl, gain no midden, & score! #boardgames

My player board, tiles, and cards. Board is on the left. I've got 3 skaill knives, 3 food, & 1 bone. Slider has 2 midden, no negetive points, and the midden is offset by my 2 utensil cards. I've got 4 roofs, and 2 iron ball cards. I'm in the 3rd slot of the Furnish track, and didn't touch the Trade track. On the right are the player tiles. I didn't use the Explore special tile, though I upgraded it and most of the tiles. I have 7 villager cards: 1 blue, 2 green, 3 brown, & 1 yellow.
