Updated my ublock Origin filters to now include the Bookmark counter in the expanded view. It does not display elsewhere far as I can tell and previous filtration to block other counters still seems to work. You can find the filters in one of my Github repositories here: github.com/TealfulEyes/...

In an ideal world of logic and reason, we'd simply build out infrastructure and security measures on top of existing forms of age verification to use online. We already have a lot technology and tools that can do this in a way that respects privacy, but in the end this is about power/control.

The way I view the arts is pretty simple...
I don't have competition, I have comrades. Art is far more enjoyable when you treat it less like an arena through a lens of comparison and more like a journey with people to learn from along the way.

I finally got around to customizing my keyboard and num pad keys. Its been years unfortunately as I never had time to just sit down and do it, but I'm glad the QMK CLI is still a thing. I don't like using browser configurators and such(they're a bit limited anyway especially for rotary knobs)

Posts don't seem to update like they used to and require a force refresh after visiting a page fresh. Not sure if that's just me, but I guess I'll just have to adjust for that.

Reason I'm posting random things is because I wanted to check the performance of Bluesky(also its fun to be a little silly here and there). It's noticeably slower to post and update on my mobile browser(Vanadium and Firefox). However it feels like Bluesky has been pretty slow on Desktop too.

As an experiment I poured water into a measuring cup to see what 1 cup is in all my cups. The result...All my cups are liars and are not at all 1 cup! One even dared to be less than 1 cup!

Yeah, for me dairy was never an option from birth so I speed ran that part lol. That was a hell of a journey itself, but now I can just enjoy oat milk.

On a more cheery note. They make a low acid orange juice now and I was able to drink orange juice for the first time without any pain or flare ups. So yay!

I do hope those advances continue and who knows...maybe I can eat popcorn or drink apple juice again some day. For now though I just have to take the knowledge of what I have learned and continue to learn of myself and food to make choices that are as ethical and healthy as possible.

I however will say that in the decades of trying to navigate options alternatives, and choices food experience has become far more inclusive than when I was a child. Some options are still pricey, but overall they're far more affordable with options that I could never have imagined years ago.

I've had this condition among others for more than 2 decades(close to 3) and there's a lot that is exhausting physically, mentally, and financially. I love food, I love learning the cultures and history behind each dish, and so to does my family; so it hurts to feel many choices denied.

I had spoken a little about this in the past; I don't eat much meat in general as a lot of it doesn't agree with me. Having chrons disease makes even non-vegan diets hard to navigate on and off treatment, but to further that difficulty each patient is also different too so there is no solid path.

So I gave it my best shot and thought I finally found solutions after years of trial and error, but a vegan diet isn't doable for me medically. I just have to come to terms with that and compromise.
Little upset, but I learned a lot of cool things along the way of what does and does not work for me.

In my most likely awful opinion, a pagination option would make social media feeds better in general. Let the user turn off infinite scrolling and set amount of posts to a certain amount like 5, 10, or 15.
