just learned a really beautiful human being, my cousin Bruce passed away today. He was a kind, brilliant man with a great sense of humor. Husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. he wrote speeches for President Kennedy and promoted the artist Carol King. I am sad. life goes too quickly.

I'm committed to intentionally scheduling time to be with my family members, and plan trips to drive or fly to see them. My life is filled with to do lists, appointments, the chaos of our situation. But I can't let time slip by without being with who I love! Because it does, slips by. Fast.

We have so many brilliant, creative, talented and good people here! The depth of our resources and the strength of our heart is profoundly impressive to me.

I see no reason why we can't come up with ways to collaborate and form more networks of mutual strength and concerted action!

Greed comes from fear and pain and from feelings of not enough.

Even when I'm severely down, I always feel more alive/whole when I can share a sincere moment of appreciation & kindness with someone I just met. Sometimes they tell me it's the first time anyone has thanked them at work, or I can't imagine what this means cuz it was a horrible day for them.
