We spoke about peaceful protest with our kids today, "You mean like Rosa Parks?" "Yes, and Dr. King...they believed in the power of nonviolence in protest"

People showed up to protest, in city after city, and the pictures alone tell the story.

First time getting this close, I love their blue-green eyes and how this one's feathers look like dragon scales.

Fun fact: most gators want to be left alone. Don't antagonize them (sadly, I've seen people throw rocks to get their attention), respect their space, be aware, & you'll be fine.

Saw, & heard, this vulture grunting/barking at the other vultures nearby. Didn't know they grunted to communicate, pretty cool to witness. Plus, this shot reminds me of Trigger from the animated Robin Hood movie (1973).
