But,... this Section 230 effect is like the assault rifle in the U.S. There are 20 mil of them. You can't just wish either of them away. Humanity is going to have to come up with a way to live with them. This should be interesting.
This is what I ponder as well. Particularly, the "what to do" when the AI General makes an egregious mistake. Can you hold a creator responsible for an algorithm if the long term effect of the software is very bleak? Say, deadly? I don't think Section 230 will work.
Does the Militia Act of 1903 violate the 10th Amendment? I think so.
The 10th Amendment states that any powers not given to the federal government, nor withheld from the states, are reserved to the states.This means that if the U.S. Constitution doesn't specifically grant a power to the federal government, it belongs to the states, not the federal government.
