Football talent in college is incredibly high and deep. Talent in the NFL is pretty limited. These two things seem related. NIL and nearly unlimited eligibility have consequences. NFL players are unionized, college players aren’t. NFL players can get a pension, college players can’t.

The NFL doesn’t have the offensive gurus college does right now. There are so few exciting offenses to watch right now. A bunch of teams with would-be superstars can’t utilize them for one reason or another. This college season has been great but I’ve found myself tuning out of NFL games.

I’d say 80% of F1 races are snoozes after the first few laps the last couple years. It wasn’t always this way.

New football metric: Game Quality. First downs/penalties. This Chiefs/Broncos game is 1.67. 5 is a good game. 10 is great.

These are the worst uniforms Tennessee has ever had. Not having matching grays is even worse than a few decades ago before they standardized their color wheel and sometimes their jerseys were just outright yellow.

South Carolina lost a game they led 30-3 at halftime. They lost 31-30. Each team played one horrible half of football and neither deserved a win.

How are Americans such bad judges of political ability & behavior? He had a whole horrific term already. I feel like I will constantly re-litigate how the Democrats handled the ‘24 election my whole life, but Jesus Christ people, Project 2025 spelled all of it out & every news outlet reported on it
