In my white family, all non-immediate relatives a generation above (or higher) is an aunt or uncle, even if they're just an extended cousin of some sort (1st cousin once removed, etc...)

Friends/former roommates also sometimes get aunt/uncle status, but that's mostly my generation to the newer gen.

We just switched from Xfinity Home Security to Ring (not video, just window and door sensors + motion detection). Liked the overall feature set and price. Some reviews said setup can be tricky, but that was not the case at all for me. Opposite, in fact. Easiest setup of any kind I've had in a while.

Get the rotary knob replaced from GenXGrownup (find the channel on YouTube, they should have a link to their store). Fantastic upgrade! Much heavier and bigger. Makes it spin easier/smoother.

Reason #68943 why #Xfinity sucks: when returning devices after cancelling, if a device was a replacement that was shipped to you, you can't return it in-store with the rest of the devices. You have to call and request a shipping label.

It's the same #@&! company. Just take the returns in-store!

I liked Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, and I'm glad I got to see it in 35mm. I put it in a class of films like The Revenant - films I'm glad I saw, and enjoyed, but don't need to see again. Del Toro did a good job of adapting the themes of the book, if not all the details.
