1. Emojis/keysmash, short and sweet reaction of pure feeling
2. A quick line or two relating to the piece, a thought or appreciation
3. A paragraph of thoughts and feelings, theories, detailed reaction
4. Long comment quoting favourite lines and moments

I hate this whole thing of outsourcing creativity to machines. I love writing fanworks, and I'll be dawned if any machine algorithm is going to write anything close to my finest in bizarre crackshipping works. Even if it could I'll always do it better. For the handful of people who like it.

But also speaking purely BG3, we have a game with multiple paths for each character, some that allow them growth and change to their best selves, and other choices that indulge their "worse" or darker sides, expanding rather than challenging their "flaws".

There's room for both, more cake for all~

I get that fanworks can be an indulgence in the "what if things were sweeter" and that's fine, as long as people don't start whole hate campaigns on fanworks creators for including the same content the source material has. It's ok to dislike any type of content, never ok to attack those who disagree

Imo fan works can be whatever fans want them to be - tag them properly and let people choose what they like. I think what bothers me most about the puritanical "must protect blorbo" is how fan creators get so much hate for including/covering the same topics as the source, which is praised for it?
