Hi! I'm Luis a Spanish TTRPG creator. I've published Crónicas del Ocaso, a spanish game and now I'm working on the Nexaria setting for Pathfinder 2 and D&D 5e. I'm also working as a game designer doing the conversion of the Nightfell setting from D&D 5e to Pathfinder 2

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Apunte sobre esto. Casi todas las matemáticas que hay que hacer se escriben una vez en la hoja de personaje y luego solo hay que consultarlas. Los modificadores en juego no suelen ir a más de +/-4. Lo digo por quien lo lea.
