The Milwaukee Bucks have waived guard Cormac Ryan. Ryan, who signed with the Bucks on Sept. 10, saw action in the team’s first two preseason contests and averaged 5.0 points in 4.1 minutes per game. As a member of Milwaukee’s NBA 2K26 Summer League team, Ryan appeared in five games (2 starts) and averaged 11.8 points and 2.4 rebounds.

North Carolina forward Jarin Stevenson met with reporters Tuesday to discuss his offseason transfer from Alabama, his fit under Hubert Davis, and what it means to return to his home state. "When I came out of high school, UNC had a lot of talent. But now I feel like our goals align. I want to play, get experience, make the NBA, and help this team."

It’s amazing how, over the span of just a few days, it looked like North Carolina was seriously going to get rid of Bill Belichick before he coached another game. North Carolina men's soccer continues its three-match home stand Wednesday at 7 p.m. when it hosts UAB at Dorrance Field for Dogs at Dorrance Night. "We’re working through a few logistics," Belichick said Monday when asked about the status of a Hulu series about the Tar Heels’ season. "There will be something." A source with knowledge of the situation on Oct. 7 said "the show is no longer in development at Hulu."
