The lesson for all Democrats: Be brave, be bold, fire your traditional comms hacks and hand the keys to your digital strategists.
Newsom's online follower growth this year has outpaced that of every other Democratic politician in America, including high-profile progressive stars such as Zohran Mamdani, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Bernie Sanders.

I can’t stop thinking of every young person who worked, volunteered for or believed in Zohran’s campaign. For the rest of their lives, on bright days like today - and far darker days to come, they will have a leg up because they will always have hope in the driver’s seat 🫶
