She is leashed and harnessed, by the way, and we're in a neighborhood, so there really wasn't any danger, but she still doesn't get rewarded for being an idiot and not listening. She is much better behaved than that.

Sometimes having a dog is like having a toddler. No, you can't run out into traffic because you see two friends across the street. And NO you definitely cannot go get pets from your favorite neighbor after trying to run into traffic without permission and almost getting hit by a car.
