This is before going into the fact that a lot of small business owners are chuds and arguably treat their employees worse than big corps do.

Obviously, if your local small business owner pays their employees extremely well, with significant benefits, and treats them well, support them. However, the reality is, under capitalism, it's difficult to maintain that practice. They either become a big corp or lose the business.
