All in all, the US Coast Guard has seized 5 tankers and 6.15M barrels in the span of a month, with the oil valued at over $300 million. Of the 16 tankers that escaped the US Navy blockade on 2026-01-03 following the arrest of Maduro, 2 are seized; those being M SOPHIA (9289477) and OLINA (9282479).

By our estimates, #Venezuela still has about a month's capacity of empty tankers to fill with oil before it needs to cut back on production. Contrary to some news reports, we see no signs of production cuts. PDVSA has been busily loading empty #tankers since blockade began. #OOTT
