Phew! I am headed home after spending all night editing the ALCS Game 3 file for CBC. That was insane — I would update the score and then have to change it two seconds later! Barely time to re-top the story every inning. But I wouldn’t be opposed to doing it again for Game 4!

lol! I used to be a catcher and I wish somebody had told me to do this! Now, my knees are full of popcorn and my calves are HUGE and my ankles are brittle. All from years of squatting. It sucks and they should catch however they want!

I do NOT understand why you wouldn’t seize on this (as the republicans would) to suggest that, in fact, there was a ceasefire plan in place when Trump took office and he let it fall apart and did nothing for the eight months or so that followed.

The last time this happened (years ago, different tenant) two different men told me they didn’t smell anything, then when I insisted, said it was maybe propane or gasoline. DUDES. WTF? They make it smell a very specific way so you recognize it!

We FINALLY managed to reach the tenants who have the lone gas stove and got the code to get into their apartment. The oven and a burner was on and they were out.
