Not sure why this old tried & true concept is hard for folks to get.

There are good folks & orgs on Xitter still & a lot WON'T move here unless they can keep a revenue stream. Simple, but too hard for purist idealogues.

Again, you want more folks to move off of Xitter & build Bluesky? Monetizing this site in ethical ways would do that AND hurt Xitter where it counts - the pocketbook. But seethe instead.

But the current administration is FAR more willing to use violence like Bull Connor than even Trump's 1st administration.

The CRM WAS mean to change some minds (esp. northern white ones), AND elevate the movement. But CRM also meant, like Gandhi's protest, to make pernicious laws unworkable.

It is certainly one way. With CRM it was non-violence protest exposing the open brutality of state violence.

I do fear that we may need nonviolent protests that result in purposeful mass arrests before this is over.
