It is in the treaties. Once *UK triggered A50*, it was no longer our concern. The 27 negotiated for European citizens and states, not those leaving.

And that's the way it should be. If people didn't like it, they should not have voted to leave.

Blaming Europe for the UK choice is childish.

He was old and partially sighted when he fell in 4 days ago scared by a truck.

It wasn't the easiest rescue as the water is filthy with sewage there and he was biting a lot out of fear.

The little old guy is in our hospital now. Weak but nothing unfixable ♥️

This is simple: “part-year dwellers” isn’t a thing in the WA, immigration, or tax law. It exists only in Andrew’s lexicon as a component in his SME cosplay toolkit . He invents terms to bait corrections an in so doing gain the validation he wants.

I'm just over 100 days as the leader of the Green Party.

We've had several polls where we're in second place above Labour.

And today we found out we are closing in on overtaking Labours membership.

Then we're coming for Reform.

Look at her today. My heart could explode with happiness for her ❤️

@peterthurlow.bsky.social in @eastangliabylines.co.uk. Good article

There is definitely a mood shift within the UK and without.

Internally, the Brexit disaster is unavoidable; even the Brexiters are owning up; and UKG's budget has not made things better.

Can the UK talk about it?

"We"?

We, 🇪🇺, have a system of visas. We apply this to third countries.

You, 🇬🇧, rejected Schengen and then rejected citizenship multiple times in Brexit. You became a third country by choice.

So we 🇪🇺 will have the border system that suits our citizens.

Testing him out to see if he'll be OK for adoptions.

Look at him go! I think the early answer is a yes!

It is the only real free trade in the world.

And the UK ran away from that, costing it growth.

Permanently according to @johnspringford.bsky.social, with lesser trade agreements unable to compensate.

Which begs the question, how can Ms Reeves live with that?

The UK needs, according to Ms Reeves, access to global markets

Well, Brexit was the biggest deliberate retreat from free trade by any major economy since the War*

Europe provides a common rulebook, tariff schedule, a single currency, and open borders for goods capital, services and people

More powerful evidence of the disaster of #Brexit from @jonathanfreedland.bsky.social. If we’re to avoid yet more austerity, we need to start by rejoining the customs union & single market. Brexit was a reckless waste of money we simply can’t afford @europeanmovement.co.uk

The autumn budget will mop up some damage, but the true source of the economic crisis is clear. The government should now fix it – tragically, it won’t, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

To see them meet up this week in Scotland brought a little tear to my eye. Look at their little jackets for the cold!
