I don't know. Am I too jaded? Sometimes it feels like I have no choice but just adapt to bad decisions from people in power I have no control over and wait for things to get better someday. I vote. I care. I've written to reps. I just don't know what else I can realistically do.

I always thought it was so mean that we command horses by digging our heels into them. Then I realized my cat begs for attention by reaching up and poking her claws into my skin. I am the horse, she has trained me to respond to pain as a command.

It has always bothered me that Wicked is popular because of The Wizard of Oz is popular, but it forces you to reject parts of The Wizard of Oz. If people LIKE The Wizard of Oz already, why would they like Wicked? If Wicked is the smarter "adult" version of the story why does it not make any sense?

I was very cautious to try the new things in Kirby Air Riders vs the original version of what I loved. Because I worried it wouldn't capture what I loved so much about the original. But I think I enjoy Kirby Air Riders so much BECAUSE of the new things it brings to the table which I wasn't expecting

I am surprised that [redacted for spoiler purposes] pieces are available in Kirby Air Riders City Trial ranked. I've gotten it twice and its just easy points. It also trivializes the entire pursuit of collecting patches until that point lol

Now that the game is out I think Starman is really too fragile to be my main, but he has some good niche uses for specific goals/stadiums. Rick is forever my boy.
As a kid I used to go in to City Trial, ignore all the other power ups and only go for Glide so I could fly around as much as possible. I foresee Starman being a new all time fav since he's built to be a dedicated gliding character.

I had to sit down and journal all of the new unfamiliar heavens I found this year. It is hard sometimes to be comfortable with the unfamiliar, even it is good. But I'm grateful for the chance to be here and try something different.

There is no local multiplayer allowed in online :( Why is Mario Kart the only series that lets us do this where two people on the same system can join online matches together?

This might sound crazy but at least for me, I think it would be a power fantasy if I could make a character in a video game with visible cellulite. Like the fantasy is that cellulite is visible and accepted and this character is still awesome. Instead of the fantasy of pretending it doesn't exist.

Apparently in Kirby Air Riders, machines that you bought from the marketplace only show up in City Trail Online Mode. Since I have no desire to play it online I guess I'll just stop buying people's machines :(

Once Upon a Katamari is currently 25% of on Steam. If you were on the fence I'd say get it on sale, it's good but not as good as past Katamari's

OK so I went into Wicked For Good with low expectations and I was kind of surprised that it wasn't really like a bad movie. It's passable. The problem for me is still that Wicked the entity is really counting on people half remembering The Wizard of Oz while not really being enough on its own.

The existence of trans and nonbinary people is something that benefits even cis people. There is no universal experience of being female or being male. No longer gatekeeping who gets to be what frees us all.
