I'm liking the concept of the Atha'an Miere. Their ancestors fled to the seas during the Breaking, and now they are a seafaring people.

Maybe I should clean up my sketch stage of the process a bit. It should make painting over it easier and faster, plus wouldn't be so bad to post sketches and it not looking like claw marks 😅

Decided to start focusing on portrait studies for a while, so will likely do more of these.
Aiming to learn which details to focus on, and which to ignore and leave them loose. Quite happy with how this turned out.

Recently I made an accidental discovery, blending colours thanks to a video by Hardy Fowler. I nearly gave up on this piece before restarting and reworking it. And I'm fully glad I did. Will practice this blending more!
